As part of what promises to be an exciting and full series of recitals of the Cambridge Female Composers Festival, I will be performing Moroccan Jewish Women's traditional songs in Judeo-Spanish. At the Heong Gallery of Downing College, medieval texts with Moroccan melodies will inhabit a contemporary gallery space for an hour next Wednesday January 30 between 5:30 and 7:00pm.
