26 September. Eric Petzoldt will take part in the panel discussion ‘New directions in the arts and cultural promotion in postmigrant Germany’ at ‘Planet Ears Festival – rethink international music’ in Mannheim, Germany.

27 September. Vanessa Paloma Elbaz, Matthew Machin-Autenrieth and Steve Wilford presented a panel at the 13th Symposium of the ICTM Mediterranean Music Studies Group on 'Microhistories of Sonic Encounter in Colonial North Africa: Representation, Symbolic Violence and Diplomacy'

19 November. Eric Petzoldt will be presenting at the rainy days festival’s conference ‘Kunstbegegnungen’ at the Philharmonie Luxembourg. The title of his presentation is ‘Euro-marokkanische Jazz-Begegnungen’.

26-28 November. Vanessa Paloma Elbaz will be presenting at "Archivos digitales, memoria y futuro musical de diversidad” Musicología en Transición, Sociedad Española de Musicología, Universidad de Andalucía, Jaén.

26-28 November. Eric Petzoldt will co-host and take part in the three-day workshop ‘Marokkanische Musik und Jazz’ at Kulturhaus Dock4 in Kassel, Germany. The invited guest is Moroccan musician Jauk Armand Elmaleh-Lemal, whose musical approach will be discussed.
